We first met Tom on a local bus late at night in Whistler. We’d just unsuccessfully tried to get into our new house and were about to retreat defeated to the village to ponder our next move. This fortuitous encounter (Tom was in fact our housemate) led shortly to us helping him break into our new house with the broken lock via an upper balcony.

Colleague and housemate this past summer in Whistler while working for Ziptrek Ecotours. Jess is a curator of a fine attitude and quotes such as “It’s a great day to zip lines”, even when the reality of torrential rain out the window might suggest otherwise!
