Students make their way through the gorge on Expedition
Wow, that went fast…
Twelve weeks ago I started a Fixed Term contract working for St Andrews College based at their center in Castle Hill. Tomorrow I’ll be beginning my last programme in that slice of paradise before heading off overseas.
If I’m not careful the mediocre weather of the last few weeks and the hectic life outside of work clouds over the epicness the rest of the term. Those factors (and a few others) aside it really has been a stella couple of months working and living in such a special place.
Scorching hot days, evening abseils high up Dry Valley, exploring hidden gorges, waterfalls and nooks and crannies I’d never have know existed had I not been taking students exploring.
Castle Hill is one of those places that makes me regretful of leaving New Zealand, knowing it will be a while before I can explore and soak it up again.

Quantum Field
Well then, here’s to one final week at Kura Tawhiti, center of the universe as our good friend the Dali Lama says. I’ve attached a few images of life up at the ‘Hill’ to share some of the moments of the last three months.
I hope you enjoy!
